Makeup by me: Classic makeup

Brown eye makeup, flawless & glowy foundation, neat brows and a lipstick. That’s a very classic and beautiful makeup look which suits many people. It’s also very easy and safe to do since it works for many styles and looks. By being safe I mean that the color scheme is quite natural and it doesn’t take attention away from it’s wearer but actually highlights her or his features. For example a grey smokey eye doesn’t fit everyone whereas these light natural shades do fit everyone (I think). Of course the makeup is easy to vary with lipstick, blush or different eyeshadow shades (cool/warm/etc.).

For Tiina I used warm shades on lids and cheeks and I paired them with a girly peachy light pink lipstick. I think Zuii’s Daisy lipstick looked amazing on her as if it was made for her! I also put Tiina to a little eyebrow class and showed her the best way to do her brows. I used Rimmel Brow This Way which is an awesome eyebrow kit from drugstore. I really do recommend that palette. It has a powdery shade and a wax and little eyebrow brushes. For me the shade is too warm but it works great on brunettes.

It’s always exciting to get new faces to do makeup on. It’s like painting a canvas but instead of painting on flat base I try to look for the things and features that I wanna highlight on the face. I choose the shades and colours that best suit her or him and work with that. I think that on this particular makeup I did really well.

The best thing in doing Tiina’s makeup was still just getting to spend time with her. She just moved to Helsinki so I guess we’ll be spending more time together.
