Lookfantastic’s cyberweek started today, so now is the perfect time to share my favorites! LF is one of my favorite beauty stores online, so I did my whole makeup using brands and products shopped from them. I got some old and new favorites, including brands like NARS, Stila and Illamasqua.

These products also make a great gift. Don’t forget to check out all the cyberweek and black friday deals on *Lookfantastic US & Lookfantastic UK !

Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadows

It’s the season of sparkles and I’m here for it. Stila’s Glitter & Glow eyeshadows have been on my list for ages, but now I finally got around to testing them. I chose three gorgeous colors: Rose Gold Retro, Rockin Rose and Tulip Twinkle. These are even more beautiful in real life than I would have thought. The packaging is gorgeous, but the product itself is even more gorgeous. The liquid eyeshadows have more color (pigment) to them than I expected, but they also have a lot of glitter. All in all they make the perfect product for a quick glittery eye look. I think these are perfect to wear on the lid. Just shade your eye with matte colors first and add these on the lid – a beautiful eye look is guaranteed.

Stila Complete Harmony Lip & Cheek Stick

I actually have tried Stila’s products before. I used to have their One Step Primer, which I loved (just thinking about it now makes me regret a bit that I didn’t buy it). So I had a feeling I would love their other face products as well. I chose this Lip & Cheek Stain in the shade Sheer Petunia. The shade is a pink coral, which looks very fresh and nice on my face. I like the consistency in this cream blush as well. It’s very smooth and easy to blend – even though it’s quite pigmented!

Stila is definitely a brand you should check out on LF.

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer & Sheer Glow Foundation

I’ve used NARS’ concealers for years. I still feel like the Radiant Creamy Concealer is the best concealer in the world. I’ve also liked the Soft Matte one, especially for summer, since it has a drier consistency. These concealers just do their job magnificently. They have a lot of pigment, so they cover well. Their consistency – especially the radiant creamy one – is super easy to blend and it doesn’t emphasize the fine lines on the under eye area.

I’ve now tested the NARS Sheer Glow foundation as well, and so far I’ve loved it. It’s very lightweight and has medium coverage, which looks natural on the skin. I was worried it would look dry on my skin, but it just goes on very smoothly and looks glowy rather than dry. I also love the packaging! I bought the pump for it, since it was just a few euros and makes using the foundation easier.

Wearing NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in the shade Punjab, Radiant Creamy Concealers in Custard & Vanilla and Power matte lipstick in Get Up Stand Up. Also wearing Stila’s Glitter and Glow eyeshadow in Rose gold retro and cream blush in the shade Sheer Petunia. For eyeshadow I used Illamasqua’s Nude Palette.

Illamasqua Unveiled Nude Artistry Palette

This is my favorite nude palette. *Illamasqua Unveiled Nude Artistry Palette has all the matte shades I need, but also beautiful metallic colors, that are still very wearable. The eyeshadows are very creamy, pigmented and easy to work with. All in all, Illamasqua is brand I love to shop from Lookfantastic. The products are different and of good quality.

Oh! Another product I love is their  Iconic Chromes cream eyeshadow.

Natasha Denona, Urban Decay, MAC, Bareminerals…

There are so many nice brands on LF. In the photo above I’m wearing Natasha Denona’s *Mark your Liquid Lips Matte lipstick in the shade Pink Terra. It’s not even slightly pink though. Luckily I like a brown lip too!  It’s not totally transfer-proof (like this one), but seems to last well.

As I mentioned, the sales are already here so it’s a good time to shop. I know I’m gonna buy some gifts! I do encourage people to shop mindfully though. That said, I think beauty products are a great gift idea, because they are meant for use. And I prefer useful gifts.

Lipstick that lasts with a face mask – Rimmel Provocalips

lipstick that lasts with a face mask

Lipstick that lasts with a mask? Yes please!

You can totally wear bright lipstick under your mask and not worry about smudging. There are lipsticks that literally do not move, even with the face mask. My favorite affordable smudge-proof lipstick is Rimmel Provocalips.  Every time I wear this lipstick and step out of the bus and remove my mask – knowing my bright lip is still looking 100% fabulous – I feel like a superhero.

At this point we all know no thing is too small to be celebrated. And an empowering, long lasting red lip is definitely on my list of things that cheer me up.

Rimmel Provocalips Kiss Me You Fool

Best affordable smudge-free lipstick that lasts with a face mask

If you’re looking for an affordable smudge-free lipstick, Rimmel’s Provocalips lipstick is a great choice. Even if you don’t enjoy matte lipsticks, you might like this one, because it come with a gloss.

These liquid lipsticks are something that I’ve used for years. I remember when they first came out and I was super impressed. They might have been the first liquid lipsticks, that I tried, that truly lasted the whole day.

Rimmel Provocalips – liquid lipstick that lasts & feels comfortable on the lips

The thing that sets these apart from other liquid lipsticks is the gloss. The moisturizing, color-locking gloss that makes all the difference to someone, who doesn’t really like matte lipsticks. Because I don’t. The gloss is what makes these work for me. It gives me that feeling of hydration and I love that I can just apply that on top of the lipstick even without a mirror. You know, because the lipstick does not move once it’s on.

The gloss lasts pretty well with the mask, which is not that well (it is a gloss, you know). However, because the actual lipstick does not smudge and you can always reapply the gloss once you’ve taken your mask off, it’s not a probem. Obviously these lipsticks work without the gloss too, if you’re more into that matte look.

I have to note that now that we have this pandemic and we have to use masks – I’ve started to look at matte lipsticks a bit differently. Smudge-free intense color on the lips is suddenly my top priority.

Provocalips liquid lipsticks from Rimmel have an amazing pigment and beautiful color options. I currently only have two red colors. However, I used to own more shades, so I have swatches and photos of some of the other Provocalips colors as well.

Rimmel Provocalips liquid lipstick review

When it comes to longevity – these are the best I’ve tried. They last drinking and eating as well, but sometimes, it does wear off just on the inner part of my bottom lip. It kind of depends on the food and how carefully I’m eating. So then I might just add a touch of lipstick on the inner part of my lip. Still – it doesn’t smudge on the edges.

This lipstick doesn’t smudge on my face mask either. There is nothing on the inside of my face mask when I remove it. The gloss on top might get worn off a bit (and the color is clear), but even that lasts surprisingly well, because it’s quite thick in consistency.

When it comes to removal – you need a makeup remover for waterproof makeup. Trust me, I’ve tried all the other ways, it doesn’t move, not even with an oil.

All in all these are a great option especially for these mask-times. The price doesn’t break the bank and the color options are nice (there are also new colors that I don’t have swatches of).
