Merry Christmas! There, I said it. I can’t be the only one who’s ready to turn the wheels towards Christmas and just get excited about, well, something else than 2020. (You do know this year is cancelled right?) Even if sad things happen and life seems scary at times, Christmas always comes. I will not let anything ruin my Christmas spirit!

And what better way to get into the Christmas spirit than taking a look at this year’s beauty advent calendars? As you know, you have to be early, if you want to get one. These calendars are crazy popular, and I don’t wonder why. They are probably the most exciting launch every year – it’s just the perfect Christmas gift to yourself.

In this post I have listed the best beauty advent calendars. Most stores come out with their calendars in October, so I’ll update this list as new calendars come on sale.

Most calendars have the items listed on their site, so if you want to take a peek and see what you’re buying, just click to the site. Actually, I recommend doing that. When you take a peek now and buy your calendar, you don’t remember the contents anyway. Then when December comes it will be a nice surprise opening the boxes!

THE BEST BEAUTY ADVENT CALENDARS 2020

*Lookfantastic Advent Calendar $110 ( Shop in *UK & *FI/EU )

Lookfantastic is promising an even better calendar than before, but they really don’t need to do that. Their calendar is at the top of my list each year. It’s just one of those safe bets! I’ve had this calendar for many years now and I always find new amazing products from it. Fun fact: this has been sold out five years in a row.

*Feelunique Advent Calendar  £89
Feelunique’s calendar launches 5.10 and is another great option with a good variety of beauty products. I spotted some pretty amazing products there!

Rituals Advent Calendar Deluxe 89,90€
This must be the most beautiful calendar on this list. I mean.. it’s a a christmas town! With amazing bath and body products. I’m totally into calendars that also act as your Christmas decorations. I love Rituals’ products -they bring such luxury to the bathroom.

Rituals Advent Calendar Exclusive 59,90€
The more affordable version of Rituals’ calendar is still very pretty and a great choice! In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with either one of these. By the way, if you haven’t tried a shower foam from Rituals, you haven’t lived.

Cult Beauty Advent Calendar £199
Available 12.10. Cult beauty’s calendar this year looks amazing. Appropriately, there are some great cult classic products there! Another nice detail is that 15€ is donated towards a charity for every calendar sold.

Lumene 24 Nordic Surprises Advent Calendar 89,90€
This calendar packed with Finnish goodies is available soon. In my experience Lumene’s skincare products are beautiful and gentle on the skin. I also like their mascaras and there’s one in the calendar as well!

L’Occitane Classic Calendar Holiday $105

If you like French skincare and body products, you’ll probably enjoy L’Occitane’s calendar!

*The Body Shop Advent Calendars 50-130£
Last year TBS came out with multiple calendars and that’s the deal this year as well. I love it, as you can choose the suitable calendar for your budjet! The calendars are pretty and come with delicious beauty products.

LUSH Advent Calendar £185
LUSH Advent Calendar is packed with bath bombs and cute body products. Vegan. Available for pre-order!

THE BEST BUDJET BEAUTY ADVENT CALENDARS

You can totally get a beauty Advent Calendar on a budget. At least essence, Catrice and Makeup Revolution has calendars. The DIY means that you get to wrap your products in little boxes yourself – I did that last year for my sister’s Catrice calendar. It was quick and pretty fun!

*essence Ho Ho Home for x-mas Calendar 24,95€
I think both of these essence calendars are a great choice for essence lovers. The Ho Ho one is a cuter calendar though.
*essence DIY Advent Calendar 19,95€

*Catrice Advent Calendar DIY 34,95€
Nice selection of makeup products, including eyeshadow palettes, beuatiful nail polishes and other goodies.
*Revolution The Advent Calendar 59,99€
Okay, this is more pricey, but the contents also look nice. If you love makeup and like the brand, it’s a steal!

Finally, a quick word about chocolate calendars. We’ve often bought ours from amazon. Check out their selection, including *this one from Lindt!

Lightweight & coconut oil free hair products for wavy curly hair

*adlink

If you’ve been on the curly girl method, you’ve probably bumped into coconut oil, when it comes to ingredients. Somehow it’s super popular in curly hair products. Too bad it’s not for everyone. Wavy hair can easily be weighed down by heavy oils and therefore the curl gets ruined.

My curl type is wavy and I definitely need lightweight products. The last time I shopped for hair products, I chose to look for coconut oil free conditioners and gels.

Here you’ll find my recommendations for some lightweight coconut-free hair products.

Coconut oil free products for naturally wavy hair

The products in this list I’ve either tried, used something from the brand or I want to try. I’ll update it as I try new products!

CONDITIONERS

*Briogeo Be Gentle Be Kind Conditioner
Briogeo Mango + Cherry Balancing Conditioner
Ida Warg Cure Conditioner

GELS
*Innersense Organic I Create Hold Gel
This one I’ve tried and I really like it! Gives a solid hold and doesn’t have a scent, other than what comes from the ingredients.

*Briogeo Curl Charisma Gel
This is one of my favorites, because it’s so lightweight. Doesn’t give a super strong hold, but sometimes softer curls are what I’m after.

Zenz Organic Styling Gel Sweet Orange

LEAVE INS
*Innersense Sweet Spirit Leave In Conditioner

Zenz Styling Gel Sweet Orange Review Wavy hair

OTHER CURLY WAVY HAIR RECOMMENDATIONS

*Silk scrunchies
Soft fabrics are gentle on the hair and therefore silk is the number one fabric for curly hair.
