Everyday Minerals Review

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I’ve been trying out Everyday Minerals matte base for a few months now. My skintype is quite oily and my face starts to shine throughout the day. So I was looking for longevity and good coverage.

I chose Matte base from various choices. My shade is Golden Ivory, which fits my yellow undertones nicely. It also brings warmth to my face, since I don’t have any tan left anymore.

I’ve been very happy with this product. It doesn’t cover all the breakouts and actually leaves quite natural finish, but I do layer it usually to get more coverage. Works just fine like that. I’ve also noticed positive effects to my skin. My skin reacts to cheap foundations with pimples so I can’t use them regularly.

Everyday Minerlas are made of pure minerals, without unnecessary clogging ingredients. They are 100 & vegan and cruelty free, which makes me (a former vegan!) very happy.

I also bought their powder brush, Flat Top Brush, which is incredibly soft but tense, so applying and blending the base to the skin is easy. Everyday Minerals’ brushes are made of 100% renewable bamboo handles paired with soft synthetic bristles.

The powder foundations and brushes cost only about 20€ so it’s quite a nice deal!

Everyday Minerals also offers free samples, so you can find your own shade and try out the product before buying.

Have you tried Everyday Minerals? Or mineral makeup?

Jane Iredale White Tea Lipgloss

I built this look around my new lip gloss. Jane Iredale sent me their new White Tea lipgloss and even though I don’t wear glosses that often – this caught my attention.

The colour of the lipgloss is a beautiful warm nude and the pigment is great! It kinda goes for a glossy lipstick. It definitely brings colour to my lips as well as a nice gloss.

This (as well as other Jane Iredale glosses in my experience) is quite thick and sticky in consistency, which others like and others don’t. A thicker consistency guarantees better pigment and good longevity. This lipgloss is also nourishing with avocado & moringa seed oil. And there’s no mineral oil in it.

I always judge the product’s packaging. This I gotta give to the brand: the packaging is always beautiful and luxurious with beautiful gold detailing. This is how cosmetics should look like!
