Where there is desire there is gonna be a flame

I have this beautiful bright orange eyeshadow that has kinda been just chilling in my Z-palette. I’m not sure why I haven’t used it much but now that I have – there is no going back. This eyeshadow could be my new go-to. Even though the colour on the pan looks a bit scary I love how this makes my eyes look. I felt so comfortable and pretty wearing this makeup.

I filmed a video about this look so I’m trying to get it out as soon as possible. I have discovered a new way of applying eyeshadow and can’t wait to share my technique with you.

I couldn’t help myself with those lyrics on the title (P!nk – Try). Flame as a word is just so inspiring and it reflects the passion for creating I have – whether it’s makeup, writing or just life.

me

I have some infection on my eye so I’ve not put makeup on them for a while. That doesn’t stop me from playing with other face makeup though. Now that my acne is worse I really enjoy putting an effor to my foundation. A full coverage foundation may look heavy and cakey but with blush, contour and highlight you can bring your face back to life. I’ve always loved sparkly and dewy cheeks and cheekbones so that’s what I did today. I chose warm, summery colours for my face. I applied peachy blush and paired it with warm girly light pink lips.

There is one problem with sparkly products though – they tend to make your impurities or texture on the skin show more. So actually for acne-prone skinĀ a matte shade would be best. But I don’t really mind this and let myself sparkle all the way to the Africa if I want to.

I rarely show my makeup with glasses on but today I made an exception since I wasn’t wearing any makeup on them. They really help to bring the look together and bring some definition to my eyes!
